Portable Engine Test Stand (PETS) Description
The PETS consists of two major components: (1) The Test Rig Trailer (TRT) and (2) the Operator’s Control Booth (OCB). The test engine is mounted on the TRT, while control of the test article and supporting services is made from the OCB.

Test Rig Trailer (TRT) The TRT consists of an engine mounting structure that is installed on a 48-foot flat bed trailer with hydraulic and electrical services incorporated onto the trailer to support test operations. A flexure mount is used to allow the base structure to float forward and rearward. A load cell is fixed to the trailer structure to provide the structural interface for the base to the trailer in the thrust axis. The mast provides support structure for right, left, or top mounted power plants.
